We lost a mammoth sized swath of the fabric of American music history when we lost Bill Withers on April 3rd, 2020. I couldn’t stop thinking about him and his contribution to music.
Anyone who can write a song that both myself and my then 3 year old could sing laugh and smile so much to is a great loss to this viral Earth. We gathered up a collection of beautiful live performances from concerts in Zaire to Carnegie Hall. We hope you enjoy it. Definitely making me feel some feelings right now.
[We added on a tribute at the end by our pal Will Oldham from a live radio broadcast in the Netherlands in the late 90s to send the viking ship that was Bill off ablaze 🌹]
These songs will never leave us.
